Meant4Teachers is the premier online destination for teachers of any grade in high school to share their resources, whether it be lessons, worksheets, labs, quizzes, videos, etc. with other teachers, effectively passing on their experience and expertise. However, we don’t believe that teachers should have to pay to use other teachers’ resources – we’ve even gone the extra mile where you don’t have to register – simply come on and use whatever you need. Then, at a point in the future, consider contributing some of your own teaching resources to help someone else.
Meant4Teachers’ goal is to empower student learning by providing their teachers with a myriad of free tools to use in differentiating instruction, targeting ESL and ELL learners and more. Teachers are a community of individuals who joined the profession to motivate and help others, so why not one another?
Meant4Teachers was launched in September 2013 and founded by Julia Ahadie, from Toronto, Ontario.
Julia completed her Honours Physics Degree at McMaster University in April 2013. In May 2014, she completed the requirements for the Bachelor of Education program at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, OISE | U of T, with teachables in the Intermediate/Senior Division for Physics and Mathematics.
Julia created this site in order to help teachers find resources for their classrooms easily, while at the same time shining a light on important issues in education, as well as encouraging teachers to incorporate current world events into their lesson plans.
If you have any questions or comments, Julia can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
